Visiting Team Information

Visiting Team Information – Woodlands Waves Swim Meet

We are looking forward to hosting your team and appreciate your help in making the meet run smoothly!

Volunteer Help Requested

For our meet, we would appreciate help from your team with the following volunteer positions:

  • Timers – 9 per shift
  • Scribes – 3 per shift
  • Head Timer – Shift 2
  • Computer Runner – Shift 1
  • Ready Bench – 2 per shift
  • Ribbon Volunteer – 1 volunteer to place Visiting Team ribbons (typically beginning around Event 30)

Meet Operations

We will be using manual stopwatches for timing. If your team has a qualified computer volunteer who can assist with entering times, we would greatly appreciate the help. We successfully ran all manual times at our last meet and stayed about 20 minutes ahead of schedule, so we do not anticipate delays.

Volunteer shifts will typically switch after Event 40, before Event 41 begins.

Officials & Coaches

Our Meet Referee is Brian Jones. If your Meet Referee would like to connect regarding officials or meet logistics, please feel free to reach out.

Please send us the names of:

  • Officials working the meet
  • Coaches attending the meet

We can accommodate parking for up to 12 visiting officials/coaches in our designated parking lot (including team reps). Names will be placed at the entrance for access.

Parking Information

All other visiting families should park on:

  • S Forestgate
  • Flintridge

Please do not park in:

  • Dove Terrace (the neighborhood across from the pool)
  • The daycare parking lot

Vehicles parked in those areas may be towed.

Team Setup Area

Visiting teams will set up on the basketball court. We will have volunteers available to help direct your team upon arrival.

Please let us know if there is anything else you need. We are looking forward to a fun and successful meet day!
