Welcome to the WAVES!  I wanted to touch base with you and introduce myself as one of the Lead Parents for this season.  Mary-Brooke Denbigh is working with me as the Co-Lead Parent (Hooray!) so you may be hearing from either of us.

 

First, there is an informal, informational Parent's Meeting on Monday, Feb 28th, 7-8:00 pm.  Mary-Brooke and I plan to host it at my house, 26 Culverdale Pl, in the Altwood subdivision off of Flintridge.  Coach Mark plans to attend so it will be a great opportunity to get to know him and hear a little more about our plans for the WAVES this season.  It's also a great way to get to know other parents and welcome new WAVES families.   If you could please let me know if you will be coming (just reply to this email) that will REALLY help me plan for how many people to expect.  It is for adults only, please!

 

We are excited to welcome back Kyle, Mark and Jon as returning coaches this year!!  We are SO excited about our awesome coaching staff and are glad they will be back.  Kyle e-mailed me recently and said he can't wait to work with the kids again and teach them some new swim drills he has been using this year with the South Dakota State swim team!!!

 

For your planning purposes, the practice schedule is posted on the township website http://www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/index.aspx?NID=494 .  I don't think other dates are correct on that website so please disregard them until I give you an update.

 

 

Lastly, I have several incomplete or incorrect e-mail addresses for team families.  Please forward this to any of your friends swimming on the WAVES in case they did not get it.  We need to have a good e-mail database to facilitate communications.  Thank you!!!
