WAVES Age Group Parent Helpers Needed!!

We are in need of Age Group parents for each age group!! Read the info below and sign up to volunteer on the website!! (Click on Swim Meets, select the meet, click on the "V") The goal is to have at least 2-4 volunteers for each age group, that way you will not have to volunteer at each meet. Contact Mary Stanberry (her info is below) with any questions.
Job Description:
An age group parent (1) arrives early to the meet to check in the swimmers. This involves checking their name off of our meet list and marking their event numbers on their arms with a sharpie (2) listening for your age groups upcoming events and meeting the kids near the ready bench to put them order and to check to see if everyone is there. If they are not there, you may have to try to find them (3) Escorting the kids to the ready bench and then you are off to watch the races.
This job is super easy and you really get to know the kids.
Volunteer Procedure:
There is a sign up for volunteers on the website. Basically, you will go to the website, log on, pick the swim meet and then volunteer for your position. You will need to do this for each swim meet and I am pretty sure that you can do it now if you want to. If the spots are already taken for that swim meet, just let me know and we will see if we can use you in another position. Extra help is always a good thing.
I would like for all of you to plan on helping at time trials. This is a good time for us to practice and work out any kinks we may have.
