**IMPORTANT** Swimmer Registration Information

Welcome to the Woodlands WAVES Swim team!!
Mary-Brooke and I are returning as your lead parents this season and our job is to make sure we have good communication with our parents. The most important thing you can do to facilitate communication is to make sure you can log into our website and update/correct your contact and swimmer information. Even though you may have provided the info to the Rec Center while registering I still need you to verify since this is a different database.
For new families to the Waves -- I had to hand-enter you and your child's info into the database. You might find that a lot of your info is incorrect because if I didn't have access to it then I made it up (like child's birthdate and parent names). It is especially important for us to have their correct birthdate to make sure we register them in the correct age group during swim meets.
For returning families - the password has changed so please log on using the new password (below) and verify your information.
PLEASE take a minute to read this e-mail and follow the steps below to make sure you are able to log on, check your swimmer(s) information, and complete your parent info. We will again use this site for communication and meet sign-ups. That said, I SOOO appreciate your help in verifying and completing the information.
1 - Go to our Website: www.WoodlandsWaves.swim-team.us (you may want to bookmark this site to use all season long)
2 - On the left-hand side you will see a "logon" box. In the first white box, enter your email address (the one you are receiving team emails on). In the second white box enter the NEW team password. Please keep this password safe so only team members will have access to the secure info on our team site!
3 - Once you are logged on, click on the menu item "Parent Page" on the left under Welcome. Click on the blue "update profile" box. Please update this information for us. This will help with the parent directory and make sure we have good contact information for you. You can add or change email addresses on this page. You can enter multiple email addresses in case both parents want to receive the team emails and information. You will be primarily receiving WAVES emails generated from this directory, so it is VERY important that it is accurate and complete. Please make sure the boxes "I want to receive calendar updates via email" and "I want to receive news updates via email" remain checked -- otherwise you will NOT receive team updates from me. When you are done filling in the info on this page, click on the blue UPDATE button to update the information.
4 - While still on the Parent Page, check the info on "Your Swimmers." If you need to correct any spelling or birthdates, click the far right button under "Action." If you have any problems or need help just email me and I'll help you.
5 - Take a look at the Swim Meets menu item. This lists all the swim meets for the summer (Invitationals will be added soon as soon as I receive more info). Eventually, this will be the place where you will sign up your swimmer for meets (choose which events he/she will swim) and volunteer to help at the swim meets. Logout when you are done.
**6 - If you have trouble logging on or with the info on the site, please email me and let me know what the problem is and what email address you are using to log on. I will get to your issue ASAP.
PLEASE, PLEASE TRY TO COMPLETE YOUR LOGON AND REGISTRATION ASAP!!! I appreciate your support and help with this project. If you are not receiving emails generated from the website then you will miss out on lots of important information as we get closer to the start of the season.
