Hey everyone I thought since the swim season is approaching soon I would introduce myself to everyone. My name is Kyle Avocato and I am your Head Coach this year. I am 22 and have been a swimmer all my life. I just recently completed my senior swim season at South Dakota State. This will be my 5th year as a coach and my 3rd on the Waves. I will also be coaching TAAF again this year so I encourage my team to be active on that team after the regular season is over.

 

To all the new parents, I am still in school so I will miss the first and second weeks of practice. I will be back May 7 right after I graduate on the 5th.  It is an 18 hour drive so please bear with me.  I look forward to meeting all of you and your swimmers.

 

If no one has heard yet, we are going to be in Division 1 this year.  This is a great opportunity for us to compete against bigger and faster teams. This is going to be a great test and I know we will excel. I am really excited about this season and I welcome anyone to email me with questions. I check my email constantly so I am quick on response.

 

To my 13 and up swimmers and parents. We always need older swimmers and this year in no exception. If you know anybody that wants to be on the team, please tell them to sign up. It will give our older age groups a big boost.
