Hi Waves Families!!

Coach Kyle Avocato is again returning as our Waves Head Coach!  If you missed it before, please check out his posting on the website under "News Items."  We are very fortunate to have him back for one more season!

I am excited to introduce our two assistant coaches, Julie Roberson and Lindsay Tyrrell!  Please read a little about each one below.  We welcome them to our awesome team and will see them at the pool soon!

Julie Roberson:

"My name is Julie Roberson and I graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2007. After high school I attended Auburn University and majored in Secondary Social Science Education.  I graduated May 2011 and am now currently finishing up my first year teaching 9th grade World Geography at Klein Collins High School.  I swam year round for TWST  7 years as well as some summers with the Marlins and Hurricanes.  I also coached the Hurricanes during the summers of 2006 and 2007. Swimming has been a huge part of my life and I am excited to join the Waves this summer!"  

Lindsay Tyrrell:

"My name is Lindsay Tyrrell, and I am finishing up my freshman year at Texas A&M where I am studying to be a history teacher.  I absolutely love swimming, and I have swam on The Woodlands High School Swim Team, The Woodlands Swim Team (TWST), the Waves, and the Hurricanes at different points in my life.  I have also taught swim lessons for the past two years.  I'm excited to be back with the Waves, and cannot wait for the summer!"
