    More Time Trials Information

We need MANY more volunteers for this meet!  Please consider signing up to time or scribe.  For this meet we need 3 per lane and we work 2 shifts.  There is NO experience necessary and you will get the best seat in the house!  We can't run the meet without you!!

Please arrive for check-in between 6:45am and NO LATER THAN 7:15am.  Your swimmer may be scratched if you arrive late.  We will start lining up for the team photo as soon as you get checked in.  Team Photo is on deck at 7:20am.

Chick fil A concessions will be available from 6:30am – 11:00am.  You may also want to bring your own drinks and snacks since it will be warm and swimmers get hungry during the meets!

Parking – parking in the Forestgate parking lot is restricted to Coaches, Officials, and Lead Parents.  You must have a parking pass to park in that lot.  Plan to park along Forestgate Dr or Flintridge.  Of course, you may drop off your gear at the park and then park your car.  Please respect the parking attendant!

Please help break down the area after Time Trials are finished.  This goes very quickly with lots of help!!

Enjoy the morning with your swimmer!!  I’m excited to see them all up on the blocks and swimming their best!

More Information for New Swim Families:

    What should I bring?

You may want to bring a cooler with drinks and snacks.  Since the morning can be chilly to a wet swimmer, they may like to have a sweatshirt or robe to wear until the weather warms up.  Bring activities for the kids & chairs for your family.  If you have a pop-up tent you may also want to bring it or share with another family.

You may set up anywhere in the park.  The tables under the pavilion are used for swimmer check-in, but once check-in is complete you are welcome to use the tables. During check-in, the age group parent will Sharpie your swimmer's event number on his arm.  That way you won't forget which events he is swimming.

Please listen to the announcer for your swimmer’s event number and meet your age group parent under the pavilion at First Call. Don’t forget cap and goggles!  Age group parents’ attention must be on the swimmers lining up, so they aren’t able to look for swimmers who aren’t present during this line-up time. The age-group parent will line the swimmers up in order and take them to the ready bench.  The ready bench will line the children up and prepare them to swim in the correct lane and heat.  It’s a pretty smooth process, but for time trials it may be a little hectic while the children experience this for the first time.   Let your young swimmer know where to meet you when he has finished his race to avoid confusion if he doesn’t see you.

After your child heads to the ready bench, you should head pool-side to watch her swim!
