    Invitationals/Divisionals/Post season meets

    Lots of great info below about optional invitational meets, Divisionals, and post season swimming.  I encourage you to print this out or come back to the website to refer to it.  There are so many deadlines that even I can't keep them straight!!!!
     
    Welcome SUMMER!!!!
     
    I am working on updating the website calendar with the detailed info about many of these events.  
    Click on "calendars" and then the event for location info and a link to the invitations.  You will also find a link to driving directions.   I will try to update as I receive information, so keep checking back! Thanks for you patience!!  In addition, detailed information about these meets can be found in the binder "Summer Invitationals" on the table. 
     
    An "invitational" usually means there are minimum qualifying times you much achieve in order to register for the meet.  The meet invitations (under "calendar") will have those times.  There are also additional fees associated with most of these meets.

    Summer Thunder
    Meet Location:  Klein Oak H.S.
    Event Date:  June 10-11 (Sunday afternoon – 10 & U,  11 & U Free and IM;   Monday evening – 11 & U)
    Deadline to sign up:   Summer Thunder is Wed. May 30
    Sign ups will be AT FORESTGATE POOL in the White Invitational binder (do not sign up on line as we do for dual meets)
    Cost:  $6.00/swimmer/per event – Checks to be made out to Woodlands Township and left in envelope in the binder
    If your swimmer has qualified for this meet – Coach Kyle would like you to consider attending!  Please see the Coaches,  Cindy Andrews or Kristine Marlow at the pool for additional meet info.
     
    Pentathlon
    Event Date: Sunday, June 17
    Entry Deadline:  June 6 – at Forestgate in the white Invitational binder (do not sign up online)
    Meet Location:  Klein Collins H.S.
    Cost:  $20/swimmer
     
    Divisionals - part of our regular swim season
    Divisionals is the "meet of the season" --  All 5 teams in our division swim for the championships!
    Swimmer must have swam in 2 dual meets (not invitationals) to qualify to swim
    New this year: 2 meets: 10&u will swim in the morning, 11&U will swim after.  
    Event Date: Saturday, June 23
    Entry Deadline: Sunday, June 17 - online entries like our usual meet signups (activated soon)
    Meet Location:  TBD (possibly Klein Forest)
