    Parent Meeting Reminder

    March 9th

    Hi Everyone-

    Just a reminder about the Parent Meeting on Wed, 7pm at the Rec Center.  If you have not done so already, please log onto the website using our new password (below) and RSVP for the meeting.  Just click "no" if you can't be there.  I have over 100 families I haven't heard from - thanks for helping me plan!!

    Please also review your parent info and swimmer info.  I have been known to make lots of mistakes with data entry so I'd rather catch them NOW instead of the date you are trying to sign your swimmer up for the meet and discover he is labeled as a SHE on the entry!!  Big difference in which events he can swim :)

    Lastly - I've noticed it is hard to log into the site with a cell phone.  Mine kicks me out all the time if I'm not on WiFi.  If you are having trouble logging on with your phone please use an internet connection.

    See you all soon!!!  Swim practices will start before you know it!

    I can't believe it's time to get ready for our next swim season!  A HUGE welcome to our new swimmers and their families!!  I'm sure you will find that you will LOVE the WAVES!!

    I know that many of you are away during this Spring Break, but I wanted to get some quick info out to you.  After Spring Break you will get more detailed info about registering on the WAVES website and other things that go along with the season (coaches, volunteering, equipment, practices, etc).

    You are receiving this email from the WAVES website.  This email is a duplicate from the one I sent from my personal account using the informaiton I received from the Rec Center.

    Please take a minute to go to our Waves website: www.woodlandswaves.swim-team.us   You will want to bookmark this site because you will be using it all season!!  I have updated the calendar with as much info as I have received so you will know how to plan for the season.  

    A couple of things:
    1.  To sign in (upper right side of website): 
    username - your email address
    password - love2013waves

    Check out your "parent page" on the upper right "Actions" tab and update your contact info.  Also let me know if I have any incorrect info about your swimmer.  You can add your first names and any other parent info.  This is for our parent directory.

    2.  Download the Key Dates page & the Newsletter from our Rec Specialist on the upper left "links" section (you don't have to be logged in to access this)

    3.  RSVP for the parent meeting on Apr 3 at 7pm (you DO have to be logged in to RSVP)

    4.  Mark your calendar for the Township Swim Team kick off party April 13th, 4:30-7:30pm at Rob Fleming Park.  This is a fun family party where the Waves, Riptides and Hurricanes can bring their families to socialize and kick off the season.  If you would like to order Chick-fil-A ($3 per person) you MUST either call in your order to 
    281-210-3950 or register for it on the Township website by Sat Apr 6th.  Bring your own beverage (adult and/or child version).  Otherwise plan to bring a picnic dinner for your family.
