Volunteers still needed for THIS SATURDAYS meet

Our first home meet is less than 24 hours away and we are so excited.  Please take a few minutes to read some reminders and last minute items.

VOLUNTEERS  Our meet this Saturday against Memorial Northwest Marlins is still in need of volunteers.  We are in serious need of ready bench helpers for both sessions.  I worked ready bench last year and it is a fantastic way to volunteer.  You are up front with the swimmers and in the shade!  No training necessary.  We are also in need of age group parents, second session scribes and meet set up and break down volunteers.  Additionally we need someone to sell heat sheets before the start of the meet, 7-8:30 am.  If you would like to volunteer but are unsure of "qualifications" please give us a call or email us.  It is a great way to get involved.

RELAYS The relays for the meet are set.  If you have not checked the binder this week, please do so.  If you are on a relay please note some of these relays are later in the meet. If you are on a relay and won't be staying please let the coaches, Julie or Kristine know ASAP.  If you are dropping off your child and picking up at practices, please come up to the tables by the pool and double check these binders.  They change on a weekly basis.

SIGN UPS FOR MEETS  Please remember that the deadline for sign ups for all meets is the Sunday BEFORE the meet.  These reminder deadlines are on the team calendar as well.  You can go ahead and sign up for the entire season now, as well as sign up for volunteer positions.  It is easier to scratch a swimmer than to add them.  We have had several late adds and this creates a lot of extra work and shuffling for our team.  So please please please sign up your swimmers before the deadlines!

As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.  Janet and I are usually at the pool for 6 and under, 7,8 and 9,10 practices.  We are also there for home meet set ups.

Good Luck to all our WAVES this weekend!!!!!!
