Trinity and Ponderosa Invitationals

We are participating in 2 post-season Divisional Meets this summer - Trinity and Ponderosa.
What are invitationals? These meets are for the TOP swimmers of the season. It is a wonderful accomplishment to qualify to swim in these invitational meets. The Ponderosa meet is for the TOP meet a swimmer can qualify for. Trinity SILVER and GOLD are for the next highest qualifiers.
How do I know if my swimmer has qualified for these invitationals? The most current meet results (from the 6/1 Stingray meet) has the 2013 qualifying times for these meets. PI13 is Ponderosa and Gold/Silver are for the 2 levels of the Trinity Meet. Julie is working on compiling a report of swimmer who have qualified for these invitationals. Once that is compiled we will post in an "invitationals" binder that will be at the pool starting next week.
Where are these meets held? Ponderosa is at Klein Collins High School and Trinity is at the CISD Natatorium. As soon as meet documentation is available I will post it on our website under "meets" then click on the invitational to read the meet documentation. It will also include time standards.
How do I sign up for Ponderosa or Trinity? Soon there will be an Invitational Binder at the pool. You will see any/all events listed for which your swimmer has qualified based on official swim times. Circle the events your swimmer will swim.
Is there a cost? There is no cost to participate in the meet. However, in order to sign up, you must leave a $50 check made out to The Woodlands Township for each swimmer. Once you swim the meet, this check will be torn up. If your swimmer qualifies for an invitational at the Divisional meet, you MUST sign up at the Divisional meet with Julie with a $50 check.
Will there be relays? YES!! Relays are build by the coaches. We are counting on you to swim during the invitational meets!! This is your chance to shine!!
Cheer your swimmers on and participate in the invitationals if they qualify! I am always amazed at the talent on our team!
