Time Trial Information

Weather - Plan to show up even if it is raining!

Timeline for Time Trials:

6:30 AM- Set-up-  Please come early and assist if you are available. Friday rain postponed set-up

6:45 am - 7:15 am - Check-In for swimmers. Swimmers must check-in with Coach Lindsay under the pavilion before checking in with their age group parents who will then write their event numbers on their arm with a sharpie.  Your swimmer will be scratched from swimming if they are late.

7:00 am- 8:30 am- Spirit Wear will be available for pick-up under pavilion from Stevi Venable.  We have Waves Tattoos available for sale too! $1 for 5!

7:15 am - Team Photo – Line up on deck for Team Photo

7:40 am - 8:10 am - Warm Ups.  This is led by the coaches by age group.  Please listen for the announcements for your swimmer's warm up time.    They’ll need swim cap/goggles. 

8:30 - Meet begins.  We will start lining up age groups BEFORE the meet starts so we can start the meet on time. Again, please listen for the announcements for your swimmer's event. Time Trials should end around noon, but it could be longer.  Dual meets usually last until 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm.

Volunteers:

Please take a chance to log into Waves website and volunteer for Time Trials. We’re in desperate need of timers/scribes and other key positions.  We need help from ALL parents to run these meets.. So thanks to those that have already signed up and if you haven’t please go to site and grab a spot! We appreciate you!  Also, we always LOVE when parents stick around at the end to help us break down.. It’s much quicker with many vs. a few J

Other Information:

Chick-fil-A concessions will be available from 7:00 am - 11:00 am. You may also want to bring a snack and drinks. 

Parking - Parking in the Forestgate parking lot is restricted to Coaches, Officials and Lead Parents. You must have a parking pass to park in that lot.  Plan to park along Forestgate Drive or Flintridge. You may drop off your gear at the park and then park your car. Please be respectful to the parking attendant.

Individual Photo’s- Will be rescheduled.. We will know date next week..

What to bring for the Swimmer? Goggles, Sunscreen, Swim Cap (no fins!)
