Hello Waves families.  Just an update on Rivershire results from this weekend.  We had some discrepancies in scoring and final results for events 17-20.  These events are girls and boys 6 and under free style and girls and boys 7/8 freestyle.  Not every swimmer,or every heat was affected.  Rivershire had some problems with their system this weekend and it seems to have resulted in some scoring problems for these events. We took down the link late yesterday and are awaiting Rivershire's resore and results. These will be uploaded again by tomorrow. 

 

Tomorrow, Tuesday, you will need to check the binder for entries for the Spring Creek Oaks meet.  We will no longer make changes past Tuesday. If you will not be at practice, please make arrangements to come check the binder from 4:30-8:30 this Tuesday.  Starting next week, the binder will be at the pool by 7:45 am and will be there until noon.  Please continue to come in and check the binder as we move into morning practices next week.

 

  As in years past, if you have not signed up or contacted us before the Sunday midnight deadline your child may not be considered for a relay.  We cannot stress how important it is to check the binder each week and initial next to your child's events.  Older swimmers should check the binder when they come into practice and place their initials

 

If you signed up for Summer Thunder, you will need to check a separate binder for these entries.  NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE TO SUMMER THUNDER ENTRIES.  Our deadline was yesterday a morning and we scrambled to get our team in (thanks Janet for making that happen!).  There were several teams that were turned away due to a limited number of spaces available for this meet.  Please look this week to see if your child is on a relay for Summer Thunder and SIGN THE NO RELAY SHEET IF YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE WILLING TO STAY FOR A RELAY.

 

Thank you again for all of your support.  There will be several important emails this week in regards to invitational, records, end of the year swim party, and a few other important items.  We know it can be a lot to read but please, please, please take time to read these!
