Waves - what an awesome first home meet!  It was close, but in the end we pulled it out!  WAVES 326 -  SCO 304!  There were some amazing races today and we are so proud of all of our Waves swimmers!  Individual results will be posted tomorrow so be sure and look for those.  The times have been sent to Swim US so next week's meet is open for registration and has the most updated times. 

A huge thank you to all of our awesome volunteers!  A big thank you to all that worked our ready bench and ran a great meet.  The compliments on a well run bench were abundant.  Also a big thanks to everyone who helped set up last night (was very quick set up) and those that stayed to take everything down.  A special thanks to families that picked up the trash around our pool and park area that many left behind.  Please be sure to check your area and be sure it is left clean.  We picked up a lot of trash after the meet today, including popsicle wrappers left tied to playground equipment and on the ground. Thanks also to our fearless scoring/computer entry team. It is quite well oiled machine that checks, verifies, inputs and outputs results for every single swimmer! Thank you to all that stayed after the meet, and after clean up to verify the results and get our final score, we could not have done it without you! 

Thanks also, to our AMAZING coaches who have helped prepare and train our kids each week for these meets - it is evident all the hard work is paying off!  Don't forget to encourage your swimmers to visit with the coaches after their races, it is the best time for feedback from their coaches! 

Be sure and sign up for next weekend's meet.  It is an away meet at Colony Creek.  Due to the holiday weekend, registration will be open until the end of the day Tuesday, however, the earlier you register the more time we have to verify all swimmers are in the meet.  If you are having problems signing up your swimmer, please let us know ASAP!
