Hurricanes Meet Saturday, May 14
This Saturday's Hurricane's meet is our first meet of the season! If this is your first swim meet, we suggest you read this email so you understand what is going to happen.
Address: 5001 W. Alden Bridge Drive, The Woodlands, 77382
Visiting Team Set-Up Area: In the Lakeside Parking Lot. There is a drop off area for tents and chairs.
Visiting Team Parking: Along Alden Bridge and at Buckalew Elementary.
What to bring: Your pop up tent, chairs, cooler with drinks and food.Don't forget bug spray and sunscreen!
This is Iron Man weekend so please arrive at 7:00 at the latest. You can find the 2016 IMTX Traffic Impact
Check In: 7:00-7:20 - Check in (You MUST check in by 7:20 or you will be scratched from the meet!) Look for our white tents and check in there with your coaches and then your age group parent.
Warm Ups: 7:45-8:15
Officials Meeting: 8:00 a.m. under the officials tent by the starter.
Timer Meeting: 8:00 a.m. by the diving boards.
Ready Bench Area: Behind the bathrooms through the gate.
Concessions: Chick-Fil-A (breakfast until 10:30; lunch after), chips, candy, soda and water.
Bathrooms: Inside the pool area and there are some located outside in the parking lot area .
Psych Sheets: Will not be for sale. A link will be available later this evening and in several locations around the pool area.
Visit the Coaches!!
During the swim meet, swimmers are encouraged to visit the coach's tent (with their time, if they can get it from the scribe) immediately following their race for feedback and encouragement!! The coaches are there for our kids and LOVE to talk to them individually after their heats.
This is going to be a fun meet! Our swimmers have been working so hard and are going to have a great time on Saturday!
