Good evening Waves swimmers and families and Happy Father's Day to all our dads, grandads and of course to our very own Coach Spoon!  I cannot believe we only have one week left until this season is over and in the books.  Thanks to all of our fantastic volunteers that stepped up on Saturday.  I know some of you were "hand selected" and we appreciate you agreeing to help out.  Thanks to all the volunteers that took multiple shifts in order to be sure we were covered for our NWAL required shifts.  Next year we will be looking into charging for unfilled volunteer shifts, so if you missed an opportunity this season - there will be plenty next season.  Congrats to our team this season.  We saw an overwhelming amount of personal bests, which translates into a stronger more competitive team!!!!

 

Now onto some very important information regarding the next few days.

End of Season Party and Awards

Monday June 20th 5:30-9:00 pm.  All family members are welcome -

Swimmers will get a ticket for concessions.  Non swimmers can purchase dinner, snacks and drinks from concessions.  You are also welcome to bring in coolers. 

Coaches will be handing out awards for high point and most improved along with swim medals.  The ribbon box will be at the party and ribbons from IOST are included along with divisional medals and ribbons. 

Trinity and Ponderosa practice schedule for this week.  

All swimmers are welcome to practice.  If you are chosen for a relay, please be at practice with your age group Thursday and Friday.  ( there are no Ponderosa relays).  - Relays will be posted for Trinity by Tuesday.  If you cannot be in a relay please let us know.

All entries are completed and will be posted on line and at the pool starting Tuesday.  There will be no changes.

11/12 .......  7:00-8:00 am

13 and up...8:00-9:00

6 and unders/ & 7/8   9:00-10:00 am

9/10  ..........  10:00-11:00 am

 

TAAF Swimming. July 4th parade

Information regarding TAAF will be posted tomorrow and at the pool.  Please call the rec center or email Debbie Arnold to register if you would like to swim TAAF season this summer.  The deadline is June the 27th.  If you and your family would like to walk in the July 4th parade and represent our Woodlands Waves swim team, we will have more information posted on line, at the pool and at the party.
