Welcome to the Woodlands Waves! We are very excited to have you on the team, and are looking forward to a great summer.
This is a resend of the first email with a few small updates, to make sure all new families have the information!

have 2 team reps this year - Sally Armitage and Heather Johnson. Sally
has 2 swimmers (9 and 11) and Heather has 3 (12, 10, 7.) We remember
being new to swim - so please don't hesitate to reach out with any

You
will be hearing from us fairly regularly between now and the beginning
of the swim season. Initially we wanted to give you some info to set
your swimmers up for success! If you have a swimmer who needs an evaluation, please schedule that with Debbie at the Township ASAP, and if you have not yet paid your registration, please
contact the Township aquatics office to do so.

Your swimmer will also need a pair of goggles and a pair of fins for
practice. Suits and fins should have a snug fit. We are working on
offering personalized swim caps this season - more to come on this and Spiritwear
this week!
Swimtopia
- Please create an account on Swimtopia - you will need to be able to
log into this each week to sign your swimmers up for the events they
wish to compete in at the meets each week.
Time Trials
- Time trials will be on Friday April 26th, at 5pm, at Forestgate.
Please mark this on your calendar now as attendance at time trials is
mandatory. We will send more info on this nearer the time - for now,
please just reserve the date!
Volunteers
- We are a team, and it takes all of us to make the meets successful for
our swimmers. All families are required to volunteer, but you do not
need to volunteer at every meet. If you have any interest being a Stroke and Turn
official this season, please reach out to us ASAP so we can make sure you get the
training.
There will be a welcome party on April 14th at 11am at Forestgate and practices kick off on Tuesday April 16th.
We are looking forward to a wonderful summer, and we'll be in touch again soon.
