Good Morning Waves!  A quick few notes 

1. I still have ribbons. If you’d like to pick up from my home- I can hold on to them for a few weeks. Otherwise, you’ll have to make arrangements to get them from the Aquatics office after the start of the school year.  

2. Look for registration to be open first week of February.  I still have admin access and will try to send out a few reminders. 

3. Out record boards are UPDATED!!!!!  A Massive - HUGE red nation thank you to Amy and Chris Fritsche and Emily Finanger ( these guys ALWAYS step up ) for spending HOURS in the heat and getting these completed!  Thank you - thank you - thank you!  

And last we said good bye yesterday to Angie DeMarco - they are headed to Ohio ( via New Orleans - hmmm) and she will be missed for so many reasons.  I am excited to say that Ohio will gain another swim mom as our very own  Natalie DeMarco has decided to swim year round for her local team.  Go Natalie Go!  We look forward to good things from you and your sister ( A-Dog) Addison in the future - you’ll be missed!

Thanks again to all of you.  I have really enjoyed these last 7 years getting to know your families.  I loved watching all of the swimmers grow as athletes and as people.  I will miss their “where are the ribbon boxes” , “what event are we on”, and my favorite - “have you seen my mom”.  That one always got me because it reminded me we are a family, and family is everything...

For the future seasons, for now, I will return with at least one swimmer, and one official.  There are a lot of rumors going around about the status of teams next year and how they will be organized and set up.  I want to assure you all I have had several meetings and have expressed my frustrations with past seasons and have strongly suggested some ideas that I think will help going forward.  Please DO NOT worry.  NOTHING is official until you see an email from the Township.  Samantha Chefas who is our Zone Rec Specialist ( she oversees all 3 teams) is organized and qualified and is a swim mom herself.  We are in excellent hands with her as we prepare for 2020!  She will get us ready for a new season and for now that is all that has been decided.

Thank you all again.  Good luck to you and all your swimmers this school year!  I will see you all in 2020 - or at HEB - or MAC or just the woods in general!
